M & L’s Intimate Wedding in Boulder, UT
Mason and Lacy's wedding was a full weekend event at the Boulder Mountain Lodge in Boulder, UT. Yes, boulder, UTAH! You will find the Boulder Mountain Lodge sitting at 6,700 ft above the rolling white sandstone of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument—an excellent location for an intimate desert wedding in southwest Utah.

Mason and Lacy, or Macy, as you may hear them called, invited their family and close friends to the middle of the universe in the southwest desert of Utah.
The no-nonsense couple had a few fun details that showed their personality and values. The groom wore a bolo tie passed down to him from his grandfather, and the ring he presented to his new wife was an heirloom from his great-great grand mother. When you looked around the celebration, you could see the Daly Family Tartar's theme and the bunting made by the groom's mother.

The wedding celebration started with everyone getting ready at the Lodge. The ladies joined the bride in her room for all the fun final touches and a Campaign toast to celebrate her milestone. The groom and his friends had wedding tasks and opted for a casual getting-ready pace that allowed them to enjoy each other's company.
When the time came for the big event, all the wedding guests made their way to the Singing Canyon, an intimate slot canyon in the nearby National Monument. The great thing about this location, besides its beauty, is that it is perfect for its ease of access. A quick drive from the lodge on a paved road and a short walk (we're talking like 2 minutes), and you are in the canyon and all its awe and beauty. The ceremony took place in the narrow and tall red rock canyon. The bride used the canyon as her aisle, and everyone watched with brimming smiles as she made her way across the canyon to where her future husband stood above their guests on a red desert slab. The two read their heartfelt vows before sealing it with a kiss and high fives to their guests. The ceremony was followed by a champagne toast, along with family pictures and photos with just the two of them, all at the canyon.
To close out the perfect day, Macy hosted their reception (and afterparty) at the Boulder Mountain Lodge, where everyone enjoyed festive cocktails, fun games, and a hearty dinner served by the world famous Hells Backbone Grill. There were toasts, dancing, and to top it all off, a late-night cake cutting. Mmmm, cake!!
Cheers, to the happy couple!
